How much do you charge?

I charge a flat rate of $30/hr for online tutoring.  In-person tutoring will incur additional costs for travel and any other accommodations that are needed

For software & database development and other tech services, the cost will based on the project.    

What ages do you tutor?

I have tutored beginning programming for 6-year-olds and 80-year-olds, and complex programming topics for many people who fall inbetween.  I tutor anyone of any age, although for younger kids I will work with the parents to make sure the curriculum and learning goals are realistic for their age. 

What is your experience with diversity and inclusion?

I strive to create a welcoming, respectful learning environment for everyone. My teaching experience spans a wide range of cultures, educational systems, and learning needs, and I adapt my approach to support students as individuals.

I have experience working with learners who have a variety of learning differences and accessibility needs, and I focus on flexibility, clarity, and mutual respect in all instructional settings.

Do you teach in languages other than English?

No, I am very sorry.  While I have been introduced to many cultures throughout my life I have failed to become fluent in any other language.  I will, however, be very patient if the student is learning English, and I hope that they are patient with me. I welcome students from all backgrounds.
